Randy Otiker archery performance

We were fortunate enough Saturday afternoon to catch this young mans trick shooting. What an impressive show, and talented young man. Got a few pics to share.

There are 4 arrows nocked there, Randy shot 4 balloons here with this one shot.

Caught shots of Randy shooting lifesavers as well, first two at the same time, then three. Snapped the shutter on the camera right as I heard him release here. If you look close, you can see pieces of the lifesavers flying.

Re: Randy Otiker archery performance

I have exchanged emails back and forth with Randy and he is truly an awesome individual. I seen the show he had on TV too and he is truly an asset to the hunting world.

As for him being the next Byron Ferguson who is a genius when it comes to shooting, I would say Randy is right up there as well.

He has that karizma that makes him special and he has a way with people. The guy is simply awesome!

Re: Randy Otiker archery performance

First of all, i want to thank everyone for all of the kind words. The thing that I like the most

about doing what i do is getting to meet nice people all across the country. I have been traveling

for 7 weeks without a break. I have been to San Antonio,TX., Knoxville,TN.,Harrisburg,PA.,

Harrisonburg,VA. and Nashville,TN. I will be in WI. for the next couple of weeks, 2 different

churches this weekend and in Richfield(at Cabela's Mar.10-11) and in East Grand Forks,MN.

(Cabela's Mar.17-18).

The thing that i like most is when i see people in the audience that have come to my show

before and they come back to watch me again! I try to come up with a new shot each year.

The one thing that I try not to do is to act like I am better than somebody else. There are

numerous archers out there that are very good. My goal is to try to entertain and help people

with problems that they might have. I grew up on the pro archery tour and I had numerous

archers help me. The one thing about hunters is 99.9 percent of them are willing to help

their fellow sportsmen. Whenever anyone asks me about the shots that i do,I explain

how I do them. They are not tricks. They are calculated precision shots. If they were tricks,

i would never miss, but most of you that have been to one of my shows have probably

seen me miss. For anybody to say that they have never missed, hasn't been shooting enough.

Right now my dvd is only available at my shows. Soon they will be available on my

website,www.randyoitker.com. Please feel free to e-mail or pm me if you have any

questions. It might take me a few days to get back to you but I will answer.

I would like to mention one of my best friends in the industry,Bob Walker, of

Walker's Game Ear recently had heart bypass surgery and could not make it to the NWTF.

He was supposed to be signing autographs on Sat. with me. I would like for everyone to

wish him well. My mom talked to him on Friday and he was feeling better. You can catch

Bob on Sportsman's Outdoor Strategies.

Thanks again,

Randy
