I still never saw anything in your reply that addressed a living wage, 49million Americans without health care, 750,000 homeless people, and Republican Congressmen going to jail by the bus load. Also the housing market in in decline, down 16%, and foreclousers last year up by 46%. Enough said back to hunting. Thanks

[/ QUOTE ]

I think those were covered. Most poor people are products of thier own stupidity or laziness.

Kick out the 20000000 illigal Mexicans and there should almost enough room for those homeless.

Just out of curiosity, how many democrats are going to jail?

If home ownership is at an all-time high it would only make sence that at some point people are going to stop buying houses. The market has slowed because everyone who wants a house pretty much has one now.

Foreclousers are up because people are stupid. They buy houses they can't afford, furnish them with credit cards, put the most expensive car/cars in the garage that they can finance, then wander why they can't make ends meet.

It's called living within your means.

I remember this infomercial on SNL that was a parady on the economy. It was called "Don't spend money you don't have". There's some real wisdom in that.

[ QUOTE ]

So what about children? Is it their fault that they have no coverage? What about people who didn't go to College, who are working in the best job they can find, or elderly people who might be on a fixed income? So what do you tell these persons? Sorry, it's your own fault? What about some of our veterans who have no insurance or who can only get inadequate VA health care?

[/ QUOTE ]

In many state's, even poor backward states like Arkansas, any child under 18 or 21 if in college is able to get health insurance for a whooping $10 a month (per family not per kid). I think that's about 2.5 packs of cigerettes these days. Lets face it, a higher percentage of poor folks smoke. Let mom and dad cut back one stoggy a day. I don't think that's asking too much.

Old people can get medicare.

The VA hospitals around here are pretty good, not to mention free to any vet.
