For one, money is definitely a man-made concept, and two, I don't believe a person's soul will be judged by how much he donated to a church during his time on Earth. I believe in God. Matter of fact, I've never once stated, in this thread or any other, anything that would lead a logical person to believe otherwise. But that's the immediate assumption some people make, probably out of ignorance more than anything (they also call people homosexuals in an attempt at humor...how Godly? ). What I do try to do, is point out to certain people (not meaning you Strut) that even though they think they're acting on behalf of Jesus or even God, they're not. What they are really doing is acting in direct contrast to the ideals they supposedly believe in. Call me crazy, but I find that sort of hypocracy hard to take. And when you call them on it and make them aware of it they...well, you see what happens. Strut, raising your family within a church is an honorable thing to do. I apologize for the off-color reference to the church, I didn't mean any disrespect towards you, your family, or your beliefs. I was merely trying to point out the hypocracy or even some churches and man of faith. Unfortunately, I think I may have stoop to someone's level by doing that. If you use your faith to say that certain things are wrong, then someone is always waiting out there to attack you and call you a hypocrite. My point was that if you say something is wrong...let's say being gay....someone will attack you. No longer is being gay wrong, being a Christian and speaking out against it is. I was trying to get you to realize that Christians rarely take time to view an issue from the other side. You remember the post, don't you? It was the one where you used the expression "some queer."
