markyj987
I hate to see any player get knocked out for the season because of injury, regardless of his attitude. (Personally, I still think the Sharpie thing was hilarious!) I'm definitely not an Eagles fan...but think Andy Reid is a brilliant coach. I think that though TO's attitude helped the Eagles, it's really been Donovan McNabb that's really matured--he's the big playmaker on the team. They're a very dangerous team with or without TO...and given how weak the rest of the NFC is, they might just be able to walk right through the playoffs. The Super Bowl...will be a different story altogether.
JimT
Re: TO out for season I just came in here to post this. Like him or hate him, T.O. is the best at what he does, no doubt. The Eagles are done now.
Chrud
Re: TO out for season WHAT DID I TELL YOU AT THE BEGINING OF THE YEAR??!! I told you Philly WOULD NOT go to the Super Bowl...lose in the Championship (NFC) would be the farthest they go. And yall doubted me. Now, you'll love it when NE plays Atlanta in the Super Bowl, eh! Oh wait...ain't that what I've been picking all along?
billygoat
Re: TO out for season T.O., regardless of attitude, is a flat out awesome player. It is a shame to see anyone lose there longevity, and with long bone fractures... such can be the case. I only hope he can make a full recovery in the off season. As far as Philly, yes, indeed they are probably done.
Chrud
Re: TO out for season I hate to see him go done though. I don't like his off field antics, but he is the best at his position.
buckbuster11
Re: TO out for season What a big time injury this one is. I dont like the Eagles chances for the Super Bowl at all anymore. There other receivers are flat out horrible. I've seen Pinkston stop going after a ball because he was afraid to get hit twice in 2 weeks and thats the first time I have ever seen anybody do that. Tough break for the Eagles.
Steven
Re: TO out for season What's all this nonsense about his attitude? T.O. is one of the few players in the league who realize that what he does for a living is PLAY A GAME, and he has fun doing it. Most players in the league act like the fate of the world hangs on the result of every play. Having said that, the Falcons couldn't have gotten a better Christmas present. superguide
Re: TO out for season I don't watch NFL football much-too many downs lol-but I did watch the Eagles stomp Green Bay (I'm a Favre fan) but why would you keep your number one quarter back in that late in the game when you've got it clearly won. In my opinion their coach isn't all that swift-anybody can win during the season if you have some talent on the bench-I can't tell you who will win the SuperBowl but it's not going to be the Eagles. Tominator
Re: TO out for season well, i rarely go contrary to Racksie, but i agree that TO is way too cocky for me. unfortunate he got hurt, he is a player, but he needs a lesson in humility. i don't care for flashy, cocky athletes in any arena "act like you've been there, act like you'll be there again"
