Guest pintail711
I was wondering if Green Head Gear decoys hold up? We have some G&H right now and we are thinking about getting some Green Head Gear. Any opinions?

DU_man_84
Re: Green Head Gear Decoys we hunt over ghg, flambeu, and bigfoot, ghg definately look the best and the ducks hold up excellent, as for the geese though, the big feet are definately more durable and hold their paint alot better than the ghg, but ghg definately looks betters, also something to look into is big foot is coming out with duck decoys for next season, ill be trying them out once i can get my hands on them
Guest pintail711
Re: Green Head Gear Decoys Do you use different species in your decoys or do you just use mallards? We use mallards and pintails.
DU_man_84
Re: Green Head Gear Decoys beggining of the season, we got mainly mallards, wood ducks and teal, as the season progress we keep the woodies and teal out till we stop seeing them in the area, then when the divers start coming in we start to throw in bluebill decoys and black ducks with the mallards for an attention getter, never used pintails in the spread yet, but we were talking about actually getting maybe half dozen for next season
Guest pintail711
Re: Green Head Gear Decoys we were thinking about adding some teal to out pintail and mallard spread because we always kill green wings till the end of season. double_drop
Re: Green Head Gear Decoys We run 5 dozen full body GHG canadas. They have held up awesome the last three years. I would recommend them for sure.
huntinguide
Re: Green Head Gear Decoys thats all we use we set up prod. 50-60 spreads a years in and out of a trailer with no protection, and weve had them for 2 seasons and they look great. The flocked heads looks like the day we bought them. We also run BF and the are good to but they are pretty proud of them. So, YES they holdup and look great with a little TLC theyll be around for seasons.
Guest tarbaby
Re: Green Head Gear Decoys I watch a lot of the Zink Calls videos and they put a lot of time into making their decoys look as realistic as possible. They also use a lot of decoys and use them a lot each season and they seem to hold up pretty well. Wish i could afford the good full-bodies
