texastrophies
Re: lets see pics of 4-wheelers Yes they are snorkled and we can go through water about 5' deep, but, in all honesty, it is hard on the machines, a lot of maintanence is required. The way we ride, it is not a cheap hobby. Click on the "my pics" link below for a few more pics.

texastrophies
Re: lets see pics of 4-wheelers [ QUOTE ] Are those "boom-boxes" on the front of the 4-wheelers?? YES, got to have our tunes What does the snorkel look like? Usually it will be a piece of PVC or flexible hose about 1.5" or 2" diameter and it will come through the front plastic/rack to raise the level of the air intake so you can go through deeper water. On the ones pictured above, we have ran the snorkles into the headlight pod, just to give them a cleaner look [/ QUOTE ]

coles
Re: lets see pics of 4-wheelers i think its crazy how some people want to put a really quite exhaust on their atv and others(like me) want to put something really loud on it. i use mine for hunting too so i ordered the quite core insert to put in it during huntin season. Tom2008
Re: lets see pics of 4-wheelers [ QUOTE ] if i were you i would save for the 450. it shouldnt be too much more. i think im going to order a HFM slip-on pipe for my griz tomorrow when i get home. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah its about $2000 more, but I want it in black and the 450 doesn't come that way so I'll stick with the 400. Yeah I know sounds like a dumb reason to get a lower quad, but $2000 is a big difference for me also.
coles
Re: lets see pics of 4-wheelers i really didnt think it would be that much more. i guess the 450 is more designed for racing while the 400 is more sport/trail. none the less it should be a good and fast one.
