wtnhunt
Re: PSE Nova Nope, have never shot a pse nova, but have known people who have used the bow and spoke highly of it as a beginner entry level bow.

TravisM
Re: PSE Nova It was my first bow. I bought it used from a local bow shop. Shot my first two bow kills with it, and then I bought a new bow. The Nova still shoots great and I gave it to my brother, as he is just starting to bow hunt. ParsonsOutdoors
Re: PSE Nova My first bow was a PSE Nova. It was one of the first dual cam bows that they made back in the 80's. I don't know why they came out with another version of the Nova. I was talking to one of their salesman at the Outdoor Show in Pittsburgh a few years ago about it and he didn't even know about the previous version. He told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and said I "couldn't" have one, cause they don't exist. I told him I'd bet him 5 grand and bring it up the next evening. After talking to a few of the other guys, he found out he was wrong. He felt pretty stupid after that. I killed a number of deer with it before a crack developed in the limb. I contacted Terry Ragsdale at PSE for replacement limbs, but they discontinued my bow years ago and couldn't replace them. I then switched to another bow company and haven't looked back.
