Jeramie
Re: Gas Prices? I heard this morning on the news that we have the Cheapest gas prices in the nation. The average around here right now is $1.52.9. Its still higher then I like but hey, it beats $1.90+. They said, last week, that they were going to cut oil production in either January of February which will drive oil prices back up. Stupid move. They're worried about the effect low gas prices will have on the economy..... BULL. They are also over producing.... or so they say.

[/ QUOTE ] What a load of #@!%, in Maine it just dropped from $1.88 to around $1.79 for regular. This of course also effects heating oil prices. How can an elderly person or hard working family being able to afford to heat their home have a negative effect on the economy??? Those oil tycoons making billions of dollars a day just makes me sick when some of the most innocent and needing people are worried about freezing to death! This forces people to use unsafe things like electric heaters, but in a month or so the state's electric company is raising prices 17%!!! Just can't win, and in Maine it is not like you can forgo the heat and throw on another layer!
Shaun_300
Re: Gas Prices? it is 69.1 cents/ liter here, i am near Ottawa. It was 63.3 down in Belleville, which is 2.5 hrs south of here, where i go to college. this is amazing prices, it was 98.9 cents/ liter not too long ago, and dads car requires premium, which is usually at least 8c/litre higher than regular.
