I went and scouted a new area yesterday real quick. I just did a quick walk around. I saw 3 jakes in a real nice looking strutting area. It is a real nice spot to set up at. You can find plenty of cover to hide. I found some droppings and scratchings also in this area. I still have over a month until the season starts here.
