We got the lucky number 7. My season is lookin pretty good so far. I have a spot that I saw 20+ longbeards in during late archery season here in PA. Well thats enough talkin from me for now. Nick
Re: TURKEY TEAM #7 Hey everyone. I just got the good news on the net tonight that I got declined my first two choices for turkey permits. But Im going to the sporting goods store tomorow to get my late season tag. I'm pretty confident with my turkey hunting, so I expect to add a gobbler for our team. Good luck to everyone. Turkeygirl
Re: TURKEY TEAM #7 Hey guys! Woohoo, looks like we got a good group of people! Good luck Nick...they'd better give ya a tag! I'm hoping to get a turkey for the team this year. Haven't gotten one for 3 years, I think since the contest started. I have not seen any sign of turkeys in the woods around home, but I'm eager to scout and hunt some state land. Only downside is if I get called in to work custodial at the college, that only gives me weekends to hunt and weekends on state land I expect to big one big party, lol. Oh well. So do we want to think of a name for our team?
Squirrelhunter91
Re: TURKEY TEAM #7 Cool beans!! Ruth, Nick, my dad ( Adjam5 ).. sweet. Lots of familiar faces. Hey Nick.. haven't we been on the same team the last two years? I've been having a bunch of jakes come to my yard here in Rockland. I should be able to stick one of them with the bow this year, but my two other places have always proved productive in the past. Lots of birds came thru our land in Sullivan County last weekend, there were tons of fresh crap and tracks in the snow. Then at our other spot there are always birds there. maddhunter
Re: TURKEY TEAM #7 Just checking in !!!! If I get a bird as good as the one I got this last fall I be doing real well. I know they're out there anyways. Our season starts April 6th and it can't get here soon enough. Good Luck all!!!!!!!!
Turkeygirl
Re: TURKEY TEAM #7 I went ice fishing yesterday and there were turkeys out all over. Of course not anywhere on land I hunt though Andy works with someone who has a brother who owns one of the places we saw turkeys so he might see if he'll let me turkey hunt there. Anyway we saw a flock of 6-8 and as we drove by, they looked kinda weird. We turned around and drove back..by then all the turkeys were by the road. Wow, they were the skinniest looking turkeys I've ever seen. We have alot of snow and with it being crusty, they can't get down to the ground so it doesn't look like they are handling the weather here to well. Poor things...they looked to be like jakes but geesh they were so skinny...
woodsman2230
Re: TURKEY TEAM #7 the birds here are gonna have some trouble also. I have a spot with about 29 longbeards on it. So Im planning on posting a nice tom on here. As for names, The Beard Collectors, Team Gobblestopper, Team Jellyhead, Strutbusters, Spring Time Snipers, Roosted IS Roasted, Strut Assassins. Those are some examples. It dosent really make a difference what you guys pick for the name.

One team was named Andrea's Boys. How about Ruth's Boys?
