western NY bowhunter Posted May 5, 2007 Report Share Posted May 5, 2007 While they're not points for the team...I did mange to call up this nice 3 yr. old gobbler for my cousin yest. morning. He came strutting in with a buddy that was the same size. Unfortunately I was set up calling 60 yds. away and couldn't get a shot at the other one. I've been on the birds but am having a bout of bad luck. Oh well, tom. will be day #6 of the NY season...there's still lots of time left. We got a new game plan for a trio of birds we've been after for the past two mornings. Hopefully, I'll get a crack at one of them tom. morning. It was fun this year seen alot of birds but nothing into range hopefully next year. Congrats to the those who got birds. Good luck this fall.
