huntinsonovagun
Hey guys. I don't have internet at my new apartment, so I haven't been on in a while. I've only gotten to hunt 2 days since season opened 2 weeks ago. I don't have any private land to hunt, so on the second time I got to go (this past Sunday) I decided I would shoot a jake, given the chance, since I am hunting public ground. I shot this little guy sunday morning. 13 lbs. 3.5" beard, 1/2 spurs. Not much, but he's got us some points, right?? I'll be waiting for longbeards now. I'm guiding all weekend for www.huntcimarron.com so I'm looking forward to hunting a part of the country I've never been around, even if I don't get to shoot. need2hunt
I'm getting ready to leave for Missouri again so I'll get mine entered when I get back. HSOG make sure you get yours entered too. That will put us in a good position with 5 out of the 6 of us with birds down and our 6th guy will be smoking one soon. If I figured it right we should have 270-some points with what we have on the ground now.

KYLimbHanger
Well, KY season is over. This was THE toughest season I have ever hunted my entire life. KY total harvest results down big time from last year. Actually the total is the lowest it has been in many many years. Congrats to all those KY hunters...it was one tough season. huntinsonovagun
I'll try to get mine entered soon. Sorry for the delay guys! In the heat of the action (since I was trying to hurry to make it to church on time) I forgot to get pics of the beard and spurs. I'll get them soon. need2hunt
Ryan - how did the rest of your season go? You whack any more of those Okie birds? I entered mine last night but it doesn't look like it will do us much good other than a possible second place finish. billkay got a bird for team 19 and along with the 100 points Tbryant got for that awesome triple bearded bird there won't be any way we can catch them. It was great hunting with all you guys this year though!
huntinsonovagun
I didn't even get to hunt on my own any more this past season. Let's just say I won't be guiding any more....I like to hunt too much..............
