RDNKHNTR77
Re: TURKEY TEAM #24 [ QUOTE ] I am using 3" remington #5s nitro turkey. The best thing is that they are about three bucks cheaper per box than the other brands. [/ QUOTE ] i usually use the 3" winchester supremes #6s might have to try those remingtons this year though since i am pretty pressed for $$

magnatecsteve
Re: TURKEY TEAM #24 So, Buckslayer, you're going to bowhunt? Any others bowhunting? I had thought about it, but I like being mobile and bowhunting turkey usually involves a blind....I'll be using my Mossberg 500 Turkey Special (woodland camo), sporting my BSA red-dot. I love the red-dot. I feed my gun 3" Winchester Supreme #5's.

stick
Re: TURKEY TEAM #24 I shoot the stoeger 2000 turkey, with the 22" barrel. I use the undertaker choke and added rife sights to it and man oh man is it deadly at 40yds shooting the remington #5 nitro turkey it put 37 holes in the head and neck. I am counting the days till I can get out in the woods.
Buckslayer
Re: TURKEY TEAM #24 Guys this past saturday I saw 18 turkeys including a few strutting Toms on our farm. I am going to place my trail camera in their strutting zone this weekend hopefully. I'm sure if they stop back I'll get some great photos!
