Tominator
Re: Cub Cadet owners Today's Cubs are not yesterday's Cubs, if that makes any sense. Cub Cadet was bought out by MTD a few years ago I believe. I don't think today's Cubs are as good as the old Cub Cadet company.
wtnhunt
Re: Cub Cadet owners Think they offer them with kohler engines still, if they do that would be the engine to get. Have not owned one, but have looked at them. We went with a kubota diesel for a new lawnmower at the end of last summer. Really happy with it so far. bowana
Re: Cub Cadet owners I own a 3000 (3206) it has a Kohler engine and starts right up everytime. I have a 50" deck. I have 5 acres of sprinkled lawn.......if it was up to me it would all be imperial clover....but it was not up to me. Soo, now I have 2 mowers a commercial bob-cat zero turn radius and the Cub. I also use the Cub Cadet to Snow blow my driveway in the winter. Its about a 1/4 mile long! I have burned a couple of belts up by getting chunks of ice caught in the turbine, other than that it runs like a champ. My dad has the B-series Kabota. No comparison against the cadet. Kabota is in a class of its own.
