What does probation mean? I am surprised to read that, with all this mess that's happened, the he still put the bear up on display at his house??? [/ QUOTE ] Nah, sorry but I can attest to the fact that this is unfortunatley not true. Here in GA we have a Hall of Shame where violators are written up in all their glory in a magazine each month. Well, I have seen people who spotlighted and killed 15 or 20 deer and all they get is about $1,000 fine and loss of hunting privliges. They should go to jail and if Gentry knew the score on this hunt, he should be bunking with him. This is unfortunately one of those things where the punishment never fits the crime. All he has to do now is hunt in another state. He did not lose his rights to hunt, just there. Sad thing is he put a black eye on us as responsible hunters and to me he hurt his music career. If it was not legal why didn't the owner of the game reserve get sentenced also, after all, he sold the hunt. It does make all of us look bad in the eyes of Joe Smoe.
