So I got my new bare shaft Bemans in the mail the other day, my Grayling fletching jig came in the mail today, goy my wraps, got the glue. Just waiting on my Blazers to come..Can't wait to show ya all a photo when they are done. Anyone have any good instructions on using the Grayling jig? And how do I adjust the offset and what offset should I do with my Blazers?

I use the Arizona and blazer. I have a right helical setup but with the blazer being so short, there isn't much to it. But they work great. Well worth the wait. I got a guy on ebay that does 36 any color mix for about $7.00, in case ?

Re: Almost there....

Just experiment with the offset TG. You do need to dry fit the blazer first. Put it in the clamp and place the arrow in the jig and put the clamp in place. Pick it up and look on both sides to make sure you have full fletching contact.

Other than that, just have fun.grin.gif

Re: Almost there....

Thanks guys. Hoping maybe I can get the wraps on today at least. Although now I need to see if Andy has a little tool in his hunting stuff for turning the nocks, so once I have wraps and blazers on I can have the nocks lined up how I want them.

So is it better to just put my blazers on straight or do a slight offset? 6 are going to be for hunting and 6 I'll save for 3D if I can one to go to. then my older 6 arrows will be for practice...

The Bohning Signature nocks I bought have this little plastic tool inside to remove the old nocks. Also works good in turning the nocks to where you want them. I have about three of them. If you need one Ill send you one. But you can always use somekind of tool to gently twist them on or off. Like pliers, just dont clamp down real hard.

I turn the nock so that the c ock vane is glued 180 degrees from where the wrap is slightly over-lapped. Use a slight offset, now sure how the Grayling jig adjusts for offset, I know the Bitz has two knobs to turn to get the desired offset.

Re: Almost there....

Yeah, my Grayling jig has 2 nobs that adjust I believe for offset...it moves the one magnet/area thing that I can't remember what it's called, lol. I'm planning to do 3 at 120 with the **** vane down since I shoot a NAP 1000 rest.Don't have my Blazers yet so can't try that but I'm trying to understand this all so I don't mess up something, lol.
