IowaDeerHunter
Re: T/C Encore Great gun overall. We own two of them now and soon to be three. Never have encountered a problem with them and have zero complaints. Just an all around great gun, you will be very happy.
mehunter
Re: T/C Encore Great gun, just make sure you take the extra time when you clean it to clean the firing pin. Had mine stick on me last year at the range. Less then five minutes to clean and never had another problem.
Hoyt03
Re: T/C Encore Can't go wrong with TC. I have an Omega, would have got the Encore but it was alot more money then I was looking to spend at the time plus I really was not interested in changing barrels. I have all those other guns already. If I ever have that extra cash burning a hole in my pocket I may get one.
christsavedme
Re: T/C Encore Got one and love it! Will never own another M/L unless it is another Encore! Would love to have the new Pro Hunter....but just don't have the money right now!
tped
Re: T/C Encore Encore is a terrific gun as a muzzleloader and with the versatility of the extra barrels make them extremely useful and practical. Mine shoots terrific - you will love yours.

Guest gowandasuper
Re: T/C Encore i just bought the Encore Pro and absolutely love it . I put a Nikon Omega scope on it and shooting Jim Shockey's gold pellets through it . With a Hornandy 240 grain bullet I had a 5 shot 1" group at 100 yards, last Friday. I was going to maybe go to the loose powder so I could play a little with the charges more at longer distances, but I have reconsidered after that performance last week. Guest gowandasuper
Re: T/C Encore i also just ordered a 7mm barrel for it as well this week and will be putting a Nikon Omega scope on that as well or the new Vortex line of scopes when they become available. Guest dedicatedmarine
Re: T/C Encore The encore system is phenominal, however, i found that the stainless steel version still rusts. I also had a hard time shooting (pistol version) because the barrel was long and heavy. However, if i had a good, solid rest, i was able to shoot a 7mm-08 round accurately to around 300yds. the pistol isn't a weapon for a treestand. The rifle version is second to none. [/ QUOTE ] You know better than me, but isn't the Omega Scopes primarily a muzzleloader scope ? I'm not sure how good it would be for longer distances ? Good luck, hope you like it, it pretty cool too_

[/ QUOTE ] The pistol version definately needs some sort of a rest to get good to great accuracy. As for not being a tree stand gun I dare to disagree. Shot my doe at 80 yards in the timber with my 15" Encore 209x50 last December. This gun sports a Burris 3-9x32 LER scope and gets 1" at 100 groups off the bench with 100g of pyro pellets and a 250g shockwave sabot. I ONLY shoot the Encore in pistol form for any caliber.
