Turkey Mounts (as Requested...Al)

Ok the turkey on the limb I shot uummm 8 or 9 years ago. It was my first ever bird on my first ever hunt. It just so happen to be a nice bird too..

The other bird was my dad's first ever bird. He just recently started to turkey hunt.. only so we could spend more time with each other in the woods. Anyways this idea came to mind. I attached the wings, and tail to a piece of wood.

Then I took a piece of old barn siding and made it into a picture frame to hold a picture of him and I on the morning of the hunt, the beard, the legs, and a plaque. The plaque says some details about the bird and "Two is Better and One."

Here is the pics.

One more thing, the last picture (my dads) as you notice the tail has what looks like a split in it. Actually that is a missing tail feather, it was missing before he shot it. So its suppose to look that way.

But you can actually see the new feather growing out to replace the missing one. I will try and take a better picture of it next time Im at his house.

I could have fixed it but that wouldn't have been natural so I left it.

Ok here is a somewhat better pic of the split in the tail. I hope you can see the new feather, I moved some other feathers away to see it better and traced around it in red.
