Ok ladies...a question for you

And if any guys respond to this with some stupid comment, you'll really hear from me mad.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif

Do any of you know of any secrets to get a zit to go away? lol. I'm serious. When I scratched my eye back in January, all the tearing and wearing my glasses gave me a big zit on the upper part of my nose below my eyebrow. It got alot smaller but 2 months later it's still there, grrr.... I don't think it knows what to do. I'm guessing it's a little more than a normal zit but anyone know any home remedies or anything I haven't done? I tried aloe from an aloe plant, been taking vitamins, a few OTC zit creams, all that fun stuff. I really, really don't want to go to a Dr. though that may be my only chance, but I figured I'd ask here to see if anyone has an idea I don't,lol. Thanks pals!

Never heard of one lasting that long. You might HAVE to go to the doctor for that. Oxy10 makes an overnight remedy you can try. But 2 months is a realllllly long time to have a zit. confused.gifcrazy.gif

The toothpaste thing works too. But sounds like you may have a more serious problem. Good luck. Let us know what works. wink.gif

Re: Ok ladies...a question for you

Wow never had acne stick around that long. Sure it isn't a boil or cyst? Those can be difficult to get rid of without draining them and can make you even get a fever if not properly taken care of. crazy.gif If it's just acne then go on a rampage at the store buy a bunch of acne creams and try them all until you find one that your body responds to best. Try to keep the area clean and oil free as much as possible if you feel sweaty while working get some of those acne wipes and carry them in your purse. Then just wipe them over the area a couple times a day until you can get home and do more serious face cleaning with some acne face cleaner. You have to get tough on that bugger and get rid of it. Stay away from putting makeup on that area of your face or any kind of product that may have oils in it. The treatments to get rid of it may give you very dry skin once its gone they make moisterizers to use after you rid of the acne spot to restore moisture to your skin again that are oil free and won't make the acne come right back again.

Well just so you all know, lol, its almost healed up and gone. Mom got this chickweed ointment from the local Amish store. I put it on and it drew stuff to the top and finally it..well...you know...got rid of what was in it. Turns out probably an ingrown hair type of thing. Whew...

I got on this late but that was my first thought when I read it. Working around a estethician, She says zits unless irritated alot rarely last that long. It is more than likely a infected hair. Even if you dont see it ingrown is a possibility. frown.gif Sorry I know thats no fun!!

Not really a way to get rid of it, but a word to the wise: NEVER get your eyebrows waxed with acne medication on your face= I had that today, and skin came off ooo.giftongue.gif
