If you want to keep your pice down I would look into a Bushmaster, either a 16" M4 style (whichs means it is lighter and a little smaller. It also has a 6-position adjustable stock) with the A2 upper. (fixed handle) or the 20" M16 style. Bushmaster is all mil spec so you can swap parts pretty easy. If you look around you can find better prices then the ones that are listed on the site. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.
