HarvDog
I recently read a good article about these Hide Away Knives (HAKs). Does anyone own any or have experience with them? BTW...these aren't really "hunting equipment" so I posted it here.
Swamphunter
Re: Hide Away Knives Illegal in NY State. Check your laws....in NY that would be considered a "metal knuckle knife" (technical term).
jbeck
Re: Hide Away Knives Don't look to appealing to me. I can't imagine I'd have time to pull a knife and run at the same time. LOL
Guest Andrea
Re: Hide Away Knives What would you do with it Harv?? Just a collector item? As far as self-protection, I'd stick with the old pistola.

billkay
Re: Hide Away Knives "Backup to the pistola and folding knife." If you need a third weapon in a fight, something has gone terribly wrong.

unioncountyslayer
Re: Hide Away Knives Havn't seen those until now, but do carry a Columbia River knife that is kind of similar everyday. Not really for protection but for work. I'll leave the protection up to the trusty Sig .40 cal. Take a look though, very nice compact knives... http://www.crkt.com/bearclaw.html
