Guest Cheeshead
I recently watched this video and was not happy with what I saw during one of the hunts on this video. The 'hunt' I am referring to is the one where they set out to harvest a large 8 point and a larger 13 point walked in but they could not shoot it. When the large 8 point was hit with an arrow and he was running away after the shot I saw a flash go across my T.V. screen. I replayed it and again saw the flash. I then replayed it in slow motion and became very ill to what I saw. I saw 4 other arrows that were shot at this deer as it was running away after being shot by the archer being filmed. Can anyone please explain this?????
toddyboman
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 I guess do not remember that part I will re-watch it. Are you sure it was arrows and not something in the tape or anything else? I will try and watch it and see if I can see anything until then I cant really comment to much on it. Welcome to the forum too.
Griz
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 First off let me say Welcome to Realtree... I doubt very seriously that something like this ever happened. I mean stop and think about this...Why would Realtree go out of there way to jeopardize there career over something like that. How ever I have everyone of the RT videos and when I get a chance I will watch it... I just can't believe this ever happened...
Guest Finn
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 Welcome to Realtree.....do you really think they had time to shoot 4 arrows at a deer running away? What year is that video from? I'd have to see it, but seriously can't buy it being 4 arrows.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 mmmmmm, someone needs to watch this ASAP and see if he indeed is seeing something we may have missed! BTW: Welcome to the club, your first post and this one is very interesting!
Straight Shooter
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 That doesn't hold a lot of water coming from someone who will not fill out any fields in their registration of who you are. I can say that this is not true in any fashion and to say at least four more arrows being shot at a deer while running off sounds more like a dove hunt to me. I doubt the Byran Nelson was in the tree next to them. On another note, Welcome to the forums!
Hoyt03
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 This post seems like a waste of time, good first one by the way. If you ever respond to this thread who was hunting in the segment and where? I'm dying to go back through the video and see if I can see the same thing you did. I have a real good slow motion setup on the player.
toddyboman
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 Well guys I did watch MB 5 Vol 1 last night. I did see a hunt where a very young David Blanton and a very young M. Waddell was hunting in texas. David the hunter Michael running the camera. And a nice 13 point came out but David was hunting for a management buck of 8 points. Well his management 8 point buck came out and he smoked that deer. The deer ran off the only arrow I could see was the one david shot and then as the deer is running off you see the deer kick it out. I COULD SEE NO ADDITIONAL 4 ARROWS BEING SHOT. This was also the same hunt where david goes to look for his deer and then come out of the brush and jumps up in the air. Then they deam him "Air Blanton". SO I dont know what Cheesehead saw but I sure didnt see anything.

Guest Cheeshead
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 Look guys I will tell you that you have to watch this kind of close and in sllooowwwww motion to see this but it is there. Don't be scared guys it is OK to admit what is on this video unless of course your paycheck comes from Realtree Outdoors then I would not suggest it but for the rest of you........... hunter336
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 If you guys want to read anymore about this, check out the NWTF General Discussion message board. I saw were Cheeshead started the exact same discussion (Bill Jordan Unethical Video). It will save this space for other more important things. Tom2008
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 Well for starters we are not afraid to admit the truth, because it is not true. I watched this hunt and looked at it several times and I see nothing of the sort. People who come into a forum and start up things that aren't true need to leave nice places like this alone. Don't you have something else better to do than make up random stories on the internet?
need2hunt
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 Wow isn't it amazing that after almost 10 years someone that has never made a post on this site (as well as was new to the NWTF site) suddenly sees 4 arrows that are only viewable in slow motion. Buddy you have ANTI written all over you. Looks like your just trying to get some "zumbo" heat up.

Straight Shooter
Re: Monster Bucks V Volume 1 Get it! Cheesehead, Duh! His head is full of cheese and not brains. No need to continue to try and defend something that doesn't need to be. He's just someone with nothing else to do but stir things up for fun.
