NiteRunner
Has anyone heard of Montana Decoys and have you used them? Saw them on the hunting channel the one day. They look very realistic, flat design, and they fold up for easy carry.
Rhino
Re: Montana Decoys Haven't used them personally but this past Saturday a friend of mine showed me a set he recently bought. I have to say that's the most compact set of 3 decoys I've ever seen before and quiet too. The reason he bought them was due to an experience he had with a friend of his last year hunting Merriams birds in New Mexico. He said the guy with him had the jake decoy, pulled it out and said "watch this". They both eased into position with a gobbler that was visible waaaayyyyy out of range. The guy with the decoy started moving it in front of him and he said the gobbler came running in. My buddy shot the gobbler. That's his story anyway and that's why he bought 2 hens and a jake. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Montana Decoys I have 4 of them and they are super realistic, other than only being 2D they are easy to carry and set-up fast. They are hard to transport as you can't fold them up, could but damage could happen so I carry mine. I am impressed with them.
Guest realtrhunter
Re: Montana Decoys For those of you that have used them. Have you had any problems with turkeys getting scared of seeing a turkey and then it disappears b/c of being 2 dimensional? I would like to use them, but that is my only concern.
