So he kept them and I bought them off him last week. Saved about $200 from what they were brand new. And then the 17s would be another couple hundred on top of that, along with the tires. Plans for the future: -Wheels up next -Euro lights -Exhaust -Cold Air Intake -Throttle Body Spacer And maybe eventually an engine swap. I'd love to put a 5.3L or an LS2 (6.0L GTO/Corvette engine) in front of that 5-speed standard transmission, now THAT would be a VERY fast truck. deerslayer79 Posted March 15, 2007 Report Share Posted March 15, 2007 Re: New rims for my truck Nice rims man,good idea about having the exhaust done too I had dual exhaust from the converters back with no mufflers using 3in stainless pipes and 4in polished stainless tips done on my truck louder than all get out,but dyno'd 50 more hp at the rear wheels.
