Yeppir! Now the opposite problem exists. The sun is so hot it will cook your hand if you grab bare blued metal. I guess its back to the other guns. I do own a 760 and a 742 Carbine though.

I use the REM 7400 in a 30-06, and love it. It's a little bit heaver than my Savage 110, but that's what I like.

You do have the 2, 3, and 4, shots if you miss or if you try to get two deer on one hunting trip .

Remember, the United States Armed forces uses 98% Semi-full Auto Weapons. Since I carried one for over 6 years I can tell you that with proper maint. they are every bit as reliable as a bolt gun. I actually hunted in Montana with a guy that had a Weatherby Accumark 30-378 and it would not fire when he tried to shoot a mulie. He had not cleaned and oiled the bolt and water/rust had froze the spring into the cocked position. Ouch!!
