Remember, the United States Armed forces uses 98% Semi-full Auto Weapons. Since I carried one for over 6 years I can tell you that with proper maint. they are every bit as reliable as a bolt gun. I actually hunted in Montana with a guy that had a Weatherby Accumark 30-378 and it would not fire when he tried to shoot a mulie. He had not cleaned and oiled the bolt and water/rust had froze the spring into the cocked position. Ouch!!
