Guest tarbaby
Re: Big Fish Stories My biggest is a channel cat that I caught once out of my grandpas pond when it was about 22lbs. After that we put it in our pond and I caught it the next two years and the last time I caught it, it weighted right around 25lbs.

Guest Andrea
Re: Big Fish Stories Caught this fat-daddy the night before Hurricane Dennis hit, I was fishing with cut-liver hoping to catch a big channel cat. Never thought a flattie would take dead bait. And we don't have that many flatheads in Yellow River anyway. The bite was barely a nibble and I pulled back a tad and he took OFF!!!! Right out toward the middle of the river. I was hoppin and hollerin cause I knew I had a mack-daddy. Then he went under the boat and hung himself in some logs. I was desperate and almost sure I'd lose him. I kept the line tight as my husband started to hand feed the line. All of a sudden he shot out toward the middle of the river again. I reeled as fast as I could. When he got to the side of the boat we realized we had NO NET. I was MAD!!!!! So my husband reaches down and grabs the fish by the mouth and brings him on board. Only fish that was caught that night. I sure was proud. 23 pounder....
Guest QuackHead
Re: Big Fish Stories I got a new fish to tell about. I caught my biggest bass Monday night. An 8 pounder on a chatter bait. I would put a picture on here but I only got one on my cell phone. I had to get him back in the water because there are a lot of people around this lake. "It's a city lake" My dad was there to see it so you know I'm not stretching the truth. I could fit my entire fist in his mouth!! He was huge especially for southern Indiana. Jeramie
Re: Big Fish Stories Roughly 94lb paddle fish when I was roughly 15 years old. Its pretty easy to catch them around 45lbs. They are a blast!
LifeNRA
Re: Big Fish Stories This past summer I was down in Fenwick Island, Delaware. My buddy takes me out 13 miles in the Atlantic ocean. We were after flounder, caught a bunch of croakers, then it happened! The one croaker came up with only a head! I started catching small sand sharks, then we hit a four footer! Soon the three of us were catching big sand sharks! We all had one about the five foot range! It was a blast! Now I have something to look forward to when we go back down! But this time I need to have my camera! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! LOL!
