Prayers requested.

Our oldest daughter who is 5 is having her tonsils out on Friday. We have explained everything to her about what will happen. She has been ok, but the last few days she has been saying she is nervous. I fully expected that. She is however, mega excited about all the popsicles and sherbert. She is also excited to have mom and dad home for the week.

So if anybody wants to say a quick prayer for a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery, the Lewis clan would appreciate it.

Will do!!! wink.gif

My niece had her tonsils taken out last year. She was 4. Didn't take very long at all. And what was funny was she sounded COMPLETELY different when she finally was able to talk again. More clearer!!! smile.gif

That is what we are hoping for too, well that and the 2 month long battles with Strep throat that are pretty common with her. Hopefully she won't sound so nasally (is that really a word?).

Re: Prayers requested.

Well we made it through. Only 1 meltdown when they took her back to the OR and put the mask on. Thanks all for the prayers. We are at home and resting. We have gone through 5 popsicles and 2 sherbert push-ups. I think she is going to milk this for all it's worth.
