Hoyt03
I was originally going to get the glock 17. Then i thought maybe the smaller 19 for carry. Now I have checked out some other models and am totally undecided to this point. Those here who have the glock what model do you have, what makes it different from the rest, and what would you recommend. Will probably be carrying this sometimes but certainly not all the time. Appreciate any help.
Tecumseh
Re: Getting a glock, now I can\'t decide on model. I have the 36 45 cal.can't beat the weight and feel of it plus the knock down power over the 9mm or the 40 cal.Great conceal carry gun. popgun
Re: Getting a glock, now I can\'t decide on model. I have the 27 and like it because it is small enough to conceal, and the .40 Caliber semi-jacketed hollow-point is plenty big enough to do considerable damage. When practicing with it, or just target shooting, I use the magazine with the +2 extension. It fits the hand better than the short grip. ....popgun
unioncountyslayer
Re: Getting a glock, now I can\'t decide on model. Depends on what caliber you have in mind. My wife carries the Glock 19 with 15 ready to go! It is a sweet shooting gun, but I prefer a little more power for myself. I carry a Sig P229 with me wherever I go. Guest Huntin_Cop
Re: Getting a glock, now I can\'t decide on model. I have a departmental issue Glock 19 that I carry on duty. I like it but will soon be upgrading to a 17 40 cal. for a little more insurance if I ever need it. If you're looking for something lightweight, easy to carry, and easily concealable, I'd go with the Glock 27. It comes in a 40 cal. with a 10 shot capacity (9+1) and has the 3.5 inch barrel. HarvDog
Re: Getting a glock, now I can\'t decide on model. Can I add to your indecisiveness? Have you looked at the Springfield Armory XD line? Very VERY nice guns!
bowana
Re: Getting a glock, now I can\'t decide on model. If your dead set on the 9mm, then the model 19 would be a hands down winner.
Guest Clay008
Re: Getting a glock, now I can\'t decide on model. I have handled the Glock 19 and the 17 and I think if I was going to purchase a Glock I would get the 19. It is a little bit smaller and fits in my hand better for some reason. I quess I should get rid of my 9mm I don't think it would knock someone down. Anyway back to the question I have a 26 great to carry and shoot but I'd also like to have a 19 one of these days.
