Hoyt03
Re: 9 1/2 hp outboard, how do i mix? I would have to agree with the 50:1 ratio. Here's the math if you don't have the cheater bottle. 1 gallon = 128 ounces gallons x 128 divided by ratio = ounces of oil to mix w/ gas Ex for 1 gal of gas: 1 x 128 =128 128/50(ratio)=2.56 at a 50:1 ratio you add 2.5oz of oil to 1 gal of gas. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: 9 1/2 hp outboard, how do i mix? 50:1 is correct. Go to Wal Mart and see if they have one of those plastic bottles that show how much oil to add per gallon. I didn't run the math, but I think it comes out to about 1 quart of oil for 6 gallons of gas.
Shaun_300
Re: 9 1/2 hp outboard, how do i mix? Yup, probably 50:1. It's actually 1 pint of oil to 6 US gallons of gas.
