Tominator
Re: Prostate Cancer (oh well) [ QUOTE ] Thanks everyone. Prayers are all a guy can ask for in this situation. 80 - 90 % success rate sounds good, so I won't dwell on the left over percentages, OK [/ QUOTE ] Three years ago, docs said my thyroid cancer had a 20% cure rate so I was on the other end of what you're looking at now. I know what you're going through brother, trust me the love sent by your friends here in the forms of well wishes and prayers works. Peace of mind will be yours. I'm glad you finally told everyone, I was about to bust. Call anytime bud, but the way I see it, this time next year, we'll have 2 survivors on the Mod Squad. mrswtnhunt
Re: Prostate Cancer (oh well) Prayers sent from West TN Steve. Hope everything goes your way. As far as the seeds, I used to work on a floor where we did chemotherapy and various cancer treatments. and I have seen alot of positive results from the implants in various locations throughtout the body. Just make sure to get all the information you can from the doctor about the effects on others. With certain implants you have to keep your distance from certain ones, like pregnant women, kids, etc... for a little while after the seeds are put in. Try to get as much info as you can. There is alot of info on the internet. Keep your head up. Sounds like they caught it early. Prayers sent.

[/ QUOTE ] Yep, the doctor did tell me that I'd have to stay at least 3 ft away from children, and no kids on my lap for a while either. Only for the first month or so though. But I think I'll give it longer, before visiting my grand-daughter.
