Re: Prostate Cancer (oh well)

Steve, I don't know how I overlooked this thread, but of all that I have read over the years this one really hit me hard. You were the very first person here in the forums that I got to know, trust and look up to. Always a kind word with helpful advice. Your sense of humor made my day too many times to count and I look forward to keep laughing with you. Your friendship is second to none.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers as always. We will beat this thing!

Mike

Yep, the doctor did tell me that I'd have to stay at least 3 ft away from children, and no kids on my lap for a while either.

Was that the doctor or the court order? laugh.gifwink.gif

Thanks. Yeah, it's supposed to be just day surgery and then you go home, but I was kind of wondering about whether I'd be able to go to work right after it.

I guess I don't want to be climbing any tall ladders too soon...eh

I hope it gets scheduled for the late fall or winter, during my regular slow time. crazy.gif

Hey Buckee, prayers going your way. By the way, whatever happened to that "freezing" treatment they had a while back that was supposed to be so successful? Some kind of cryogenic thing or something. Any of the doc's. mention it at all? Maybe it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Just a thought.

Nope, never mentioned that, and it wasn't in any of the literature I read either. I was just given those 4 options, so I picked the safest.
