Forget calendars, thats the real barometer in my eyes. What do you see that tells you spring is here? Right now...spring is on hold here. Some bradford pears around here have been blooming for a couple weeks now, we are back to normal here now though, what a difference a day makes. Was around 80 yesterday, with the north wind out there now wind chills are probably in the mid 40's, dont think the temp will get much over 50 today. My mom always said that her dad had once told her that after seeing the first robin, they (the robins) need to freeze their feet 3 times before spring is here to stay. I was concerned with the 70 degree weather the other day she was going to pop out and then this snow storm would hit her, but she stayed asleep luckily.
