Guest jbob3006
Which choke tube will work best with a remington 870 express 26inch barrel, shooting 3 inch heavy shoot? I was leaning toward either the kicks choke or the primos jelly head... anyone have any thoughts..

terry264
Re: chokes If I remember correctly, I read somewhere where the "heavy shot" chokes are not a real "tight" choke, because heavy shot does not like to be choked.

[/ QUOTE ] I agree evennn though i never had heard this intell now. My moosburg from the 80's has a kicks choke And my brand new bennlie has a pure gold heavy shot that the local outdoor stores sold me on doesnt pattern have as good. I didnt have a target but a box and my mosburg had 82 shot holes my benile had only 41. This was at 40 yards I was very dissapointed. WaCoyote
Re: chokes So, like someone else asked, are you planning on using lead shot or the non lead stuff? Can't recommend until we know.
