Thanks for the input! I'm still waiting to get some pictures of the RT900 from Widowmaker.... My bow, maxed out, should get 280 fps....would it be able to shot arrows at distances if I had a 5 pin sight? I'm thinking 10/15-20-30-40 and 45/50..

Re: Sights???

I have a Dusk Devil 2 with I think 4 pins. I bought it last year and it's great. Plenty bright even at moonlight. But I would recommend something with maybe a 4 pin set up. Your drop at 280 fps is not much at all between 0 and 20 yds and infact, even at 25 yds. You might be able to go 25, 35, 45, 55. Anything beyond that and It's a stretch for most hunters on a live game animal. I say go for it on 3D though. Good luck Ruth.

With that speed I would set your 1st pin to 20 yards. Anything closer would still be spot on. Then go out by 10s. Even if your not hunting with your 4th or 5th pins, its nice to practice at long range. Makes those 20 and 30 yard shots seem like 10.

BTW I have a G5 Optix LE 5 pin. So far I am in love with it and the G5 folks are super to deal with when I had issues getting the used sight back to brand new.
