Guest carloracer1987 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Share Posted March 20, 2007 Well im goin to be moving with my mother from northern syracuse to ithica. where i currently live i have 83 +/- acre's and about 15 acre was feild i was planning on making a food plot for the deer but she got a new job and wanted to be closer to family. so i was wondering if we move and dont have enough land to food plot if i could hunt once or twice on someone else's land. There is a tract of State land there called Connecticut Hill. DMU 7R, which offers some really good hunting. It is only a few miles south of Ithaca. I have yet to kill a buck since i only started bow hunting 2 years ago(im 15)Buti want to kill me a buck and i would like to know where some bigger bucks in ny are? i know southern teir is better hunting.
