They want to only parade Pete Rose around when its for their benefit. If they (baseball) has nothing to gain from it they want him as far away from baseball as possible. Thats not fair or right IMO. Correct me if I am wrong but isint the hall of fame for something that players do on the field? On the field he was one of the greatest to play the game. Another way I look at it is, he bet on baseball which is not a crime. Some of the athletes today get caught with drugs and other illegal stuff and they only get suspended x amount of games. Pete can be banned from Baseball, But you can NEVER take Pete Rose out of Baseball. You take your kid to the Hall some day & you say well this is the guy that they say has the record. But guy who really has it is "Charlie Hustle" PETE ROSE. I myself don't see them letting him in. I think he only has so many years to get in. It's not going to happen. Go ask all the guys who do the Voting for/aginst him to get in the Hall, to PEEE in a Cup. If they don't pass, can we take away there VOTE?
