1st Turkey Picture!

Finally I got a turkey picture! I have seen them back there around the camera for a few days now, but they never walked in front of the camera. Its a pretty decent bird too. Got a picture of a young doe looking at the peanut butter jar. The squirells had a feast with that and didn't leave any of the other animals some. Cut up an apple and just put it out there so we'll see what we get tonight. cool.gif

Yup looks like a nice bird.

Good idea with the peanut better. Is that some of that nasty Peter Pan??? grin.gifgrin.gif

Nope I treat my animal friends quite well! I give them some nice Jiff! grin.gif I asked Moon what I should do to get the peanut butter jar to stay and she said "drill two holes through the bottom and then stick a wire through it and wrap it around the tree." Well it worked out great! smile.gif

Re: 1st Turkey Picture!

hey tom2008

an easier way to rig up the peanut butter jar is to

1) cut the bottom of the jar off 2)remove the lid 3) nail the lid to the tree 4) screw jar back onto lid already attached to tree.

Now ready for deer. Good Luck with them birds.

Thanks for the tip, but I actually think my way is easier. All I had to do was put two holes through the sides and stick a wire through it. Then tie it to the tree. crazy.gif

Cool pics!! Shame upon the squirrels for eating all the peanut butter! grin.gifgrin.gif You should reprimand them all Beverly, and maybe then there will be plenty left for Mrs. Doe.

Take care,

Nathan
