WABS
Finally got out to shoot my new AH 420. Picked it up last fall when AH was going out of business. Hadn't had a chance to shoot it until yesterday. The very first time I shot it took 3 caps to finally get ignition and then it was kind of a hang fire. Thought I was going to be in for a long afternoon, but it was the last problem I had. Fired it about another 10 times and didn't have any other ignition problems. Wasn't overly impressed with the rear sight, but it's workable. It had VERY good accuracy for the first time out. Can't wait to get out there again. It also isn't the simpliest to clean but that's not a big deal to me.
Jeramie
Re: Austin Halleck 420 Ive heard a lot of good things about their rifle! Hopefully it will turn out to be a true shooter!
WABS
Re: Austin Halleck 420 I put the heavier wood stock on it (it also came with a black synthetic stock that is MUCH lighter). Really felt solid shooting it off the bench. I've got three synthetic stocks that I'm planning to put a little lead weight in the butt in order to give them a bit more of a solid feel.
