OK, here's my first one for the Christian out there...End Of The Spear is a terrific movie...thrilling and soulful....about a missionaries work trying to locate a hidden tribe in the Amazon and spread the Lords word to them.......only problem as that nobody who has ever come in contact with them has ever lived to tell about it........incredible movie, based on a true story !!!

Second on my list is actually three movies......the Left Behind trilogy.....which reflect on the end of time...the rapture....the anti-christ....how things may possibly unfold. It is fiction, yet it's not if you know what I mean.......it is a thrilling view which begs us to ask ourselves questions, and to cause us to think......a must see.

MHP....how could I have forgotten about the Chronicles of Narnia, definitely a good show.

And we all can't forget The Passion of the Christ....not that I could watch it all of the time, just because it is that powerful....but a must see if you haven't before.....but don't bother making pop-corn before hand, chances are you won't eat much of it.

Re: MOVIE SUGGESTIONS

We really enjoyed The End of the Spear, The Passion of the Christ, Chronicles of Narnia, and The Nativity Story. I don't believe we've seen Facing the Giants. I have to agree with Buckee on the acting in the Left Behind movies. It could have been better but the message was good.

Another to consider is One Night with the King. It's the story of Esther.

I REALLY REALLY like the movie "Jesus Christ Superstar". It was made in the early seventies. My mother loved it and she's the one who showed it to me when I was in high school. The music is awesome. cool.gifcool.gifcool.gif

Ya know i am 50 years old and i still love Focus on the family's Adventures in Odyssey

The message will sometimes bring me to tears. They have a lot of videos and they are reasonable.

Jim, I love listening to them on the way to work.....I didn't realize they had them out on Video.....where can I begin to look for them ??

What about "Amazing Grace" in theaters now.

I'd recommend taking a look at "Something the Lord Made". Netflix carries it and so do many public libraries (cool and free place to borrow DVD's in case you never knew!). The movie is based on a true story of a medical lab technician, the relationship between him and the cardiothoracic surgeon he worked with, and the development of a little tube graft used in "blue babies".

Two movies I really enjoyed were "In the Beginning" and "Luther."

"In the Beginning" I think was actually just a made for TV series and focused on the Old Testament--it was done very well in my opinion.

I also enjoyed "Luther" as well. For anyone that also has an interest in history, it was pretty faithfully done as well and shows some of what spawned the Reformation.
