I hated school but always made sure I had good grades. I was more into the "entertainment' side of school. cool.gif Played the sax all thru school, was in the marching band, starred in a couple of musicals, was in chorus) grin.gif

Re: What Kind of Student were you?

aside from being the class clown...i was around a low a-high b average...i was the one teachers got frustrated with, i'd never pay attention, and always mess around in class, but i'd do my homework and got top grades on tests...don't think they could figure out how i knew everything without paying attention in class smile.gif

Re: What Kind of Student were you?

Your grade percentages for your scales are not right for many areas there Chris. When I was in school, most places from jr. high up, it was 94-100 for an A 87-93 for a B and so forth. College, some teachers used a 96-100 scale. Without looking back, my associates degree think I carried better than a 3.0 High school graduating average, I would have to look, dont remember, but think I carried a B average overall, that was a long time ago, been 20 years since I graduated this year. I did not focus on school in HS like I should have, really did not have as much interest as I should have.

Re: What Kind of Student were you?

Chris in High School I was in honors classes during the 2nd half of my junior and all of my senior year. I ended up with a GPA average somewhere in the B range.

College...different story. I basically had a good time during my freshman and sophmore years so my GPA suffered tremendously. Spent more time hunting and fishing than in school. smirk.gif I woke up my junior and senior years averaging around a 3.4. My overall average was ~2.6 so that gives you a good idea how poor my 1st 2 years were. tongue.gifcrazy.gif

Re: What Kind of Student were you?

I was a pretty good student.Never took a book home-I usually did all my work in study halls and free mods.I got all my required courses done in my 1st 2 yrs then took electives my junior & senior years(had to take English and gym for 4yrs,though).I averaged a high-B.I actually liked school-history & sociology being my favorite subjects

Did not Graduate, but have not failed at life because there's more to life than a piece of paper.

[/ QUOTE ]

That was my vote, but it was the only option I had.

I do feel like I failed in many ways, because that piece of paper could have meant better things for me than manual labour all my life.

I failed Grade 9, went back and passed with a good average. Then I quit grade 10 out of stubbornness and pride, because I had made a name for myself, and didn't get along with a few teachers. I went back the forth year to collect a bet with the vice principle, did well, accept for a few classes, and quit due to pride again when I got exempted from writing every final exam except one. I quit in retaliation crazy.gif
