wtnhunt
Re: Fiberglass Toppers/truck caps? Really not sure, would depend alot on what you are looking for. Back in the late 80's early 90's, used to work with custom vans, and had a place we were buying our fiberglass tops for the vans from that seems like the fiberglass toppers for trucks with sliding windows would run us at wholesale cost around $250-300 for the custom fiberglass tops. That was a long time ago though and my memory is not what it used to be. Might google and see what you can find.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: Fiberglass Toppers/truck caps? thanks...the only thing i couls find was this off of the site of some place in colorado "LEER Produces 9 models of Toppers and 4 models of Tonneau covers, Prices start around $980.00 for a Compact short bed, to $1950. For a Super Duty long bed." sounds about right?? the reason i am asking is because my parents were looking for one for the truck and found a used one at the topper place here for $600 but they looked at it and said it looked brand new, and the only thing wrong with it was the shocks on the door and the lock needed to be replaced, which the company was going to do before selling it to them. G-Daddy
Re: Fiberglass Toppers/truck caps? Mine's a Leer that I bought new in 1997 for my F-250 with 6-1/2' bed. Has two slider windows on the side and one at the front next to the slider in the truck cab. It has two racks mounted to the roof for hanging fishing rods. Painted to match the truck, it cost me $1000 new - but that was 10 years ago. Don't know what they are now.
Guest Colorado Bob
Re: Fiberglass Toppers/truck caps? $600 sounds like a pretty good deal to me. It's about twice that for a new one.
wtnhunt
Re: Fiberglass Toppers/truck caps? Yeah, $600 sounds like a great deal especially if it is in good condition.
HarvDog
Re: Fiberglass Toppers/truck caps? $600 does sound like a good deal. I paid around $800 for the ARE hard-shell tonneau for my 2005 Dodge Ram short bed.
Deb
Re: Fiberglass Toppers/truck caps? An ARE fiberglass topper for a 2000 Ranger, 7' bed cost me almost 800.00. It was painted to match the truck.
