JimT
Re: Climbing Tree stand or ladder stand??? Climber... Summit X4.
billygoat
Re: Climbing Tree stand or ladder stand??? Climbers are definately more mobile, hands down they are the quickest way to "relocate" stands. Check out Summits line of stands:
hoyt19
Re: Climbing Tree stand or ladder stand??? IF your number one priority is mobility, the climber is the best way to go. My hunting group uses Summit Viper X4. I personally will use my climer until I find a hot areas ie. travel corridors, funnels, trails from buck beds: then because of my bad back will move im my cabelas ladder stands because that what I can sit the longest in. But look at the summit for sure.
Chrud
Re: Climbing Tree stand or ladder stand??? Of those two...Summit Viper X4 climber. I still like hang-ons the best. Especially the Summit Headhunter Lite or X4, with the Summit Swiftree Pole Ladder or Summit Bucksteps, while wearing a Summit Team Realtree Seat-O-The-Pants harness. VermontHunter
Re: Climbing Tree stand or ladder stand??? Definately a climber for mobility...once you've found that sweet spot the ladder stand is of my choice..

brownie65
Re: Climbing Tree stand or ladder stand??? As everyone else has said climber is the way to go if you want mobility. I love my climber & I have several ladder stands set up also. They are very convenient.
Guest wisbowhntr
Re: Climbing Tree stand or ladder stand??? I now use a climber . I was using stackin steps and a hang on stand but I got a Nortstarr climbing starr . I love having a climber again . Got my climber on sale for $139.00 and the original price was $ 269.00 . Love being able to be more mobile now when hunting . This was my birthday/christmas present to myself this year
Swamphunter
Re: Climbing Tree stand or ladder stand??? Climbers are definitely more mobile, but I actually prefer 4 or 5 well selected sights with chain on or ladder stands. But I do love my Summit climber!
