Turkeygirl
Do any of you have a turkey vest you wear when hunting? I'm looking into a new one because the one i have is big and I want one that has the thinner padded shoulder straps and also a padded back. The one I have right now can be not so comfortable when sitting for long periods of time. I might be able to get a Little Bighorn of Archery Talk for $35, in great shape minus a bum zipper that I think I could fix. Or there is a Red Head Striker vest for $35 that was only used a few times on Archery Talk also.Just wondering what you all have?
Hoyt03
Re: Turkey vests Walmart has some pretty sweet vests this year, might want to check them out. They have one with extra padded back as well. I got the Hs strut SUV vest and it is very nice too. Give them both a look.

Turkeygirl
Re: Turkey vests Anyone else? I saw Wing supple has a Beard Buster by Tarantula for $35 on sale...would be about $40 something with shipping. Looks nice also...though shoulder isn't padded but maybe not that big of a deal....can't decide

Guest deerhntnwithdogs
Re: Turkey vests Redhead Turkey Striker Vest I love it. Only drawback is that I am always turning new strikers and buying others to expirement with them, that being said the vest only has 3 striker sleeves, however it has shotgun shell pouches taht I dont use so I slit the bottom of them and used them for strikers, also not alot of padding but we had pads on clearance for 5 bucks plus my employee discount at bass pro so I took that and sewed it to the existing cushion. Turkeygirl
Re: Turkey vests Well I ended up ordering a Beard Buster by Tarantula from Wing supply...on sale.:-)
Turkeygirl
Re: Turkey vests By the way, I ordered a small/medium because my other vest I'm selling was a bit too big. A small/medium should be ok and I should have some room with a jacket underneath ?
Turkeygirl
Re: Turkey vests Well 2 days after I order they tell me it's no longer available...dopes....ah well wasn't meant to be. Now I'm thinking about the H.S. SUV vest...or Cabela's Beard Buster...but the H.S. one seems very nice
