Guest Andrea
Re: Diet?? Swamphunter did the "Nothin But Tuna" diet. I'm just watching portion size and walking. Drinking lots of water helps too. Propel Fitness water tastes really good. I find it helps if the water has flavor to it. Peach is my favorite. [/ QUOTE ] I have had my best success with 1800 cal or less a day, mixed with high protein and cardio work. The weight come off me like crazy. I went from 232- 195, my bodyfat % is probably like about 12% right now.

Guest MrsRandy
Re: Diet?? I lost about 30 pounds doing Weight Watchers. I did it on my own rather than going to the meetings. I've just been maintaning for now, but should loose another 10. It's hard to get back on track, but chasing after the kids helps keep me from sitting on my butt! WIwhitetailhunter
Re: Diet?? Me and the wife did the South Beach diet a few years ago. Both of us lost wieght, she more than I. The first week or two on that was the worst. But it was pretty easy to follow.

unioncountyslayer
Re: Diet?? Stay away from "Fad" diets, i.e. South Beach, Adkins, etc. If I had to pick the best "diet" I would say Weight Watchers has the best. The key is making smart choices when eating and making those choices routine. And the most important ingredient is exercise. Good luck. Jeramie
Re: Diet?? [ QUOTE ] Anybody have any success with diets? I'm struggling with this every day and need some advise or suggestions. Any help is appreciated! [/ QUOTE ] Its NOT about the diet! DO NOT DIET..... Change the way you eat. I know it sounds like the same thing but in all honesty its not. Simply make better decisions about everything that goes in your mouth. Weight will come off and stay off if you do this. Granted it takes longer to get off 10lbs but in the end it will stay off. You can diet and get it off much quicker but chances are in a couple of months half of that will be back on you.. Number one, drink loads of water. Then cut back on sugars, flower, and eat smaller portions. Cut out fried and fast food. Dump calories you dont need such as soda. Want some cake? Eat some. Just dont eat a huge piece and dont go back for seconds. If you deny the simple and enjoyable things in life you're far more likely to abuse them.
