Newarcher
Re: Tattoo Love the tribute but I like the idea of a shirt or there are places that will make that design into a nice window sticker for your vehicle. You might want to read this thread before doing it. I am not telling you not to but just remember that you might now always like it or want it around... http://www.realtree.com/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/1218421/an/0/page/0#Post1218421 Good luck, New

Well..its your decision, and it is a nice design, but at least think about both sides of the coin before you run off and get it done. Maybe 10 or 15 years from now...remember what Swamphunter said.... Good Luck to you Ken
ryan1990
Re: Tattoo As I said before I think its a good idea but the only thing you should think about is since you will only be 16 when you get it done there is a good chance you will grow alot more, especially your arms. I dont know how it might look but I think that could stretch it out and cause it to look bad. I would suggest getting it on the back of your shoulder, shouler blade area. It wont stretch as much and it will also be easily covered up by a shirt. Thats were I plan on getting my tat.

Adjam5
Re: Tattoo It is a nice design and you love it much more as when it is drawn/designed by you. Let alone what it stands for. Keep it out of the sun. The Sun kills tattoos.
007hunter
Re: Tattoo Wait a year, they are coming out with ink that comes off a heck of a lot easier and the article I read said that it should be out within a year that way if in 20 years you change your mind it can be removed relatively easily. This is something I would never get rid of nor ever would I want to. [/ QUOTE ] I got you, I like the design. I would just caution you one last time to make sure that you are in love with that tattoo and not the idea of the tattoo as a way to honor your grandfather. Slight difference I know but there may come a day when you are 35 or so where you say "I sure do love my Grandpa but I hate that tatoo". Once you can make that distinction, you are on your way. I like that you have that much love for your grandpa ...I just want you to understand that times change, tastes change, and you may not always be in love with that tattoo. You won't always be 16. But enough of me advicin' as I say. Best of luck buddy. New

IF. and i mean IF, he is a tattoo guy. did he have any tat's? and did he display them??? that is how you should judge putting on a tattoo. imho
Dogg6
Re: Tattoo Great looking tribute to your grand dad. I lost my grandfather almost 10 years ago now. We were extremely close as well. We used to do everything together. You tribute and honor him any way that you want. I had written a poem honoring my grandfather and read it at his funeral. That was my way and this is yours. It just shows how much of an impact he had on you. I would really like to see it when you get it done.

Buckslayer
Re: Tattoo Cool design. Go get your tat. I wanted so bad to get one when my grandpa died too because he taught me to hunt and fish. People gave me constructive opinions which changed my mind back then. NOW I THANK THEM!!! I'm soo glad I have clean skin because my girlfriend doesn't like guys with tattoos. Anyway go for it because I don't want to stop a man on a mission! Make sure you show us pics when its all said and done, and wow, BEAST is right! Congrats on the lifting record as well.
