LifeNRA
Now that I got this blind. Thought I start looking at hunting yotes maybe. Who uses them? Or are they to easily picked up by the yotes?
wtnhunt
Re: Blinds? Who Uses Them For Varmits & Predators??? Would tend to think they would work great for varmints. Seem to see yotes just fine here when hunting from elevated deer blinds, would think good ground blinds would be equally as effective. jcwa
Re: Blinds? Who Uses Them For Varmits & Predators??? I don't use them, it's to much extra to carry and extra noise to set it up. It just not worth the time when you only spend 15 to 30 minutes at a calling set. But if you were going to set up over a dead animal and sit for awhile then it maybe worth setting it up. That just me.

So the key to hunting them is sit down, call a bit, then move? Its obvious, I never hunted them! LOL! But this new blind has me thinking about it more now! Guest onecoyote
Re: Blinds? Who Uses Them For Varmits & Predators??? lifeNRA, predator hunting is a game of time. The way I play I move alot ( 10/12 min stands ) making as may stands in a day as I can. Using a blind would only slow me down and not hind me any better then not moving and good stand slection. I would also think a blind would cut off some of your field of view. Something you need alot of when predator hunting.
wtnhunt
Re: Blinds? Who Uses Them For Varmits & Predators??? Think the use of a blind if you are hunting a small property or hunting over a carcass would work fine where you might not make a lot of stands. If you are hunting a big area, could see where it would be too much extra to have to carry.
