Have not used the imperial clover personally. have heard good things about it, but there are also a lot of other good quality for deer clovers on the market. For planting would suggest whatever you plant to plant my the seed manufacturers specs. Clovers are planted on a firm seedbed, shallow, here for best results you would want to plant in the fall.
