mike Posted April 8, 2007 Report Share Posted April 8, 2007 well i have made it two weeks smoke free now! this is the longest i have been without in 16yrs! still going strong and feeling better every day. i can honestly say that i think i got this habit kicked but i will still take it day to day you all have been a good support group through this and i really appreciate that folks! Set the money you would spend on smokes aside and see how much it really was. You will be amazed when your sence of smell returns. I know you think you can smell things now, but its like wearing sunglasses at night. You can see but you can't see as well as you could. You will realize how nasty smokers smell after burning one. Your sense of smell and taste will improve! I heard on the news the other day that about 90% of smokers will get lung cancer:-( We sure wish Andy would quit but he's quit and then started again so many times....
