My wife is from Thompsonville and we go up that way every other year to visit her family. This happens to be a go year, maybe. But the first time I went there, a big ol' tom walked across their back drive and into the timber thicket right at dark. I was the only one sitting in the corner room and got to watch it walk past from two different sliding doors. Beautiful thing. Glad they live in the country.
