(Pics) When we got up that morning I looked at the thermometer and it was 20% with about an inch of snow. We hunted out of an ameristep blind, which made it a lot easier for him to move around and get on the bird. It had an 8 in. beard, 18.5 lbs. and 3/4" spurs. We roosted the birds the night before and had the bird on the ground by 7:30. Still a whole lot of luck with the way he was moving around.
